Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Hexham is seeking multiple Operators / Pickers to perform yard labour and sort scrap metals from the conveyor. This permanent day shift runs 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday, with on‑the‑job training and clear progression paths.

Pay rate is 31.86 AUD per hour plus super. You will sort materials, remove contaminants, monitor the belt, report issues, and uphold safety while keeping the yard clean. Join a team with strong safety culture and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing.
• Ability to quickly identify different types of metal.
• Willingness to learn and progress on the job.
• Eligible for permanent day shift with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Pick and sort scrap metals from conveyor belt.
• Remove contaminants to maintain material quality.
• Monitor conveyor belt speed and function.
• Notify maintenance or supervisors of mechanical issues.
