Job summary

Atturra in Melbourne, VIC is seeking a Scientific Sales Support Specialist to back the external sales team and manage quotes, orders and renewals across Australia and New Zealand.

The role combines customer service with technical understanding of laboratory equipment, consumables and spare parts; you will build relationships with laboratories and vendors while supporting revenue growth in a hybrid role.

Qualifications

• A degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in a laboratory, scientific support, internal sales or customer-facing scientific role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare and manage quotations for scientific equipment, consumables and parts.
• Process orders and provide stock/lead time updates.
• Support sales team with product enquiries and account activities.
• Qualify opportunities and identify cross-selling within accounts.
• Maintain customer records and sales activity in CRM.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics and internal stakeholders for a seamless experience.
• Deliver high-quality service and technical support to laboratories.
