Job summary

St Hilda’s School Gold Coast on the Gold Coast (Southport, QLD) is seeking a customer-focused ICT Support Officer to join our Information, Communication and Technology team. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk and technical support to staff and students, end-user device support, hardware and software troubleshooting, classroom AV support and assistance during school events.

Two to three years’ experience in an ICT helpdesk or technical support role is preferred, with knowledge of

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in ICT helpdesk or technical support, preferably in a school.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS and iOS platforms; Intune knowledge is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with hybrid environments and cloud services including AD/Entra ID/M365.
• Hands-on with classroom AV equipment and event audio-visual setups.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• A relevant IT qualification or industry certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive helpdesk support via phone, email, ticketing system and in person.
• Deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, iPads and mobile devices across environments.
• Support endpoint management and security policies with Intune, JAMF, or SCCM.
• Assist with user account management across AD, Entra ID, and M365.
• Support printing, AV equipment and event sound/lighting for assemblies and events.
• Maintain hardware/software inventories and assist with endpoint security monitoring.
