Job summary

Qualifications

• High-level facilities, grounds and building management experience.
• Ability to manage staff and contractors to develop procedures, guidelines and calendars.
• Organise work priorities including unscheduled or emergency work.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management Systems and Work Safe procedures.
• Proficiency with ICT platforms for maintenance scheduling and service records.
• Commitment to professional learning and growth for self and others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the school grounds, facilities and buildings.
• Undertake regular inspections and identify maintenance issues.
• Undertake routine repairs and cleaning of facilities.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure OH&S requirements for sub-contractors.
• Undertake small building projects and painting as required.
• Repair and maintain furniture as needed.
• Liaise with the Operations Manager and Business Manager on scheduling in the AIMS system.
• Attend Facilities/Maintenance meetings with the management team.
• Assist with day-to-day use of the Building Management System.
• Support staff in relocating furniture and equipment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in serviceable condition and report faults.
