Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicant must be currently enrolled in Moranbah State High School, entering year 11 or 12 in 2027.
• Strong interest in electrical work and willingness to learn.
• Ability to pass Coal Board Medical and drug and alcohol screen.
• Maths/English/Physics desirable; prior electrical experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, test and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Work alongside qualified electricians on site.
• Follow structured, industry-specific training plan and on-the-job instruction.
• Progress through a Certificate III in Electrotechnology during the apprenticeship.
