This role is the ideal opportunity for those who enjoy problem-solving, building relationships and coordinating people and resources to ensure exceptional quality of service.

Working closely with operational leaders and other key stakeholders, you will respond to staffing requirements, manage shift vacancies and make timely scheduling decisions that balance employee capability, participant requirements and available funding. This is a busy, responsive environment, so you'll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities, working across different systems and making sound decisions within established processes.

Working in a time-sensitive and often high-pressure environment, the day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with operational leaders to identify and seek solutions for vacancy management.
  • Allocation of resources according to shift vacancies, participant funding and NDIA line items.
  • Communication of scheduling decisions to a range of stakeholders in a concise and professional manner.
  • Regular review and analysis of rosters of support and other workplace information to optimise workforce utilisation.
  • Interpret and apply relevant Award conditions and National Employment Standards ensuring this is considered when allocating resources.
Positions Available

This opportunity will involve working either 127.5 hours per month or 119 hours per month where shifts will be across a 4-week rotating roster ranging between 6:00am and 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday (weekend shifts included).

Experience and/or Training in Mental Health will be highly desirable for these positions and the annual full-time salary range will be between $80,000 and $85,700 (plus 12% superannuation, excluding shift penalties) dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications.

This opportunity will involve working 114 hours per month where shifts will be across a 4-week rotating roster between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The annual full-time salary range will be between $71,500 and $78,000 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications.

Please note: These positions are office-based at our Coniston head office. The positions are not eligible for work-from-home arrangements, so candidates must be available to work onsite for all rostered shifts.

About You - The Ideal Candidate:
  • Excellent administration skills, including navigating a variety of technical platforms.
  • Experience and success in building professional relationships partnering with business leaders and service users.
  • Advanced customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication both written and verbal, including ability to read, interpret and follow rostering principles, award requirements and adhere to organisational and teamwork processes and procedures.
  • Appropriate record keeping as well as concise and timely decision-making skills.

To be successful in the role, you will be required to obtain a paid Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC), Australian Driver’s Licence and valid Australian working rights.
