Job summary

Express Glass in Sydney is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to manage the deployment of work across the Sydney region, liaising with customers and glaziers to ensure jobs are assessed, scheduled and completed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have trade-related experience or a background coordinating tradespeople, with strong multi-tasking and communication skills. Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office is beneficial.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to manage the effective deployment of work throughout the Sydney region each day. This is a critical role within our Sydney team, liaising directly with customers and tradespeople to ensure jobs are assessed, scheduled and completed efficiently. Previous trade related experience and an understanding of how trades operate in the field will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a capable multi-tasker who can think on their feet, solve problems and manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent communication and organisational standards.

Key responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate work for tradespeople to maximise efficiency

Assess job requirements and allocate the appropriate resources

Coordinate with glaziers, tradespeople and other stakeholders to ensure jobs run smoothly

Resolve logistical issues and emergency jobs in a professional manner that meets customer needs

Manage changing priorities and respond effectively to urgent and time-sensitive work

Maintain accurate job and customer data within Salesforce

Build strong working relationships with customers, tradespeople and internal teams

About you

Experience in the glass or glazing industry

OR a trade background, with an understanding of how trade work is planned and delivered

OR previous experience coordinating tradespeople, technicians, contractors or field service teams

Previous scheduling, dispatch or coordination experience will be highly regarded

Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload with a high level of accuracy

Ability to problem solve in a logical and holistic manner

Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with changing priorities and urgent jobs

Demonstrated proficiency with computers and a variety of software applications, including MS Office Suite

Prior experience with Salesforce is highly advantageous but not essential
