Job summary

HCLTech seeks an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead to drive design, implementation, migration, testing and support of EC Payroll solutions. The role requires strong expertise in EC, ECP, payroll processes, integrations, data migration, and stakeholder management across payroll transformation programs.

Location: Sydney preferred / Anywhere in Australia; Mode: Contract/ Full-time/FTC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP Payroll with at least 5+ years in SAP SuccessFactors ECP.
• Hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Experience in SAP HCM Payroll.
• Experience in Employee Central Integration.
• Experience with Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Experience with Payroll Schemas, Rules, and Wage Types.
• Payroll Posting and Reporting; Payroll Reconciliation.
• Data Migration and Cutover Activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementations (Australian Public Sector payroll preferred).
• Gather requirements and translate into scalable payroll solutions.
• Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure alignment between Employee Central and Payroll processes.
• Lead EC-ECP integration design and deployment.
• Define and execute data migration strategies and testing cycles.
• Lead SIT/UAT/Parallel Payroll Run Testing and governance reviews.
• Mentor team members and manage onsite/offshore consultants.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Lead to lead the design, implementation, migration, testing, and support of Employee Central Payroll solutions. The role requires strong expertise in EC, ECP, payroll processes, integrations, data migration, and stakeholder management to deliver successful payroll transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

Lead end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors ECP implementations(Preferred Australian Public Sector Payroll), rollouts, and support engagements.

Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable payroll solutions.

Configure and design payroll schemas, rules, wage types, payroll processes, and statutory compliance requirements.

Ensure alignment between Employee Central and Payroll processes.

Employee Central & Payroll Integration

Lead EC-ECP integration design and deployment.

Configure payroll replication, Payroll Control Center (PCC), and payroll monitoring processes.

Manage integrations with Time Management, Finance, Benefits, Banking, and third-party systems.

Collaborate with technical teams on SAP CPI/BTP and interface solutions.

Data Migration & Testing

Define and execute payroll data migration strategies from legacy systems.

Support data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and mock conversion cycles.

Lead SIT, UAT, Parallel Payroll Run Testing (PPRT), and payroll reconciliation

Lead onsite and offshore consultants across project phases.

Review solution design documents, functional specifications, and configuration deliverables.

Mentor team members and support knowledge transfer activities.

Participate in estimation, resource planning, and governance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

8+ years of SAP Payroll experience with at least 5+ years in SAP SuccessFactors ECP.

Strong hands-on experience in:
