Job description

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract - Full Time

Location: AUSTRALIA

Be bold. Be creative. Be part of the fight for a green and peaceful future.

At Greenpeace Australia Pacific (GPAP), we believe a better world is possible and we’re determined to make it real. We are an independent campaigning organisation, powered by people and creative action, taking on the biggest environmental and climate challenges of our time. Our priorities are:

  • tackling climate change by stopping emissions from fossil fuel extraction at source; and
  • protecting nature, including our oceans and forests, by stopping the largest sources of environmental destruction like industrial fishing and deforestation.

Whatever your role at GPAP, you’ll be part of something bigger: a passionate global movement that sparks action, holds decision‑makers to account, and drives lasting change for people and the planet. This is an opportunity to use your skills, creativity, and commitment to help shape a future worth fighting for.

SALESFORCE ANALYST

Role: Full time, 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Flexible - Open to candidates Australia wide

THE TEAM

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Salesforce Analyst to join our Fundraising and Technology department. If you are a collaborative problem-solver who excels at bridging technical solutions with real-world impact, this is your opportunity to power the systems that drive environmental change.

Our Data & Engineering team is a close-knit crew of technology experts, scattered across the country but united in purpose. We embrace a hybrid work model, allowing autonomy with the ability to come together for key projects as needed. Down-to-earth and collaborative, the team is all about making things happen.

THE ROLE

As our Salesforce Analyst, you will play a central operational role in supporting and optimising GPAP’s Salesforce ecosystem, with a primary focus on Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and its integrated applications (including HubSpot).

Working closely with internal teams (Fundraising, Programs, and Finance) and external delivery partners, you will manage support requests, investigate root causes, enhance user capability, and ensure data flows seamlessly across systems. An initial priority will be stabilising our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud operations post-implementation, improving business reporting, and driving platform adoption across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce support tickets via Asana. Investigate user access, permissions, and configuration issues, providing friendly, clear, and responsive guidance to non-technical staff.
  • Gather and document requirements for Lightning record pages, layouts, and apps. Coordinate platform changes, testing, and releases with external technical partners in line with security and privacy standards.
  • Work directly with business teams to gather requirements, build, troubleshoot, and validate Salesforce reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with our MarTech and AI & Data Leads to investigate data discrepancies, synchronization issues, and integration health between Salesforce, HubSpot, and connected systems.
  • Onboard and train users, create clear FAQs and knowledge resources, and turn recurring user feedback into continuous platform improvements.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an analytical, people-focused Salesforce professional who balances technical expertise with clear, empathetic communication. You are someone who looks beyond surface-level quick fixes to uncover root causes, ensuring our teams have the data and tools they need to achieve our mission.

You’ll ideally also have:

  • 3+ Years of Salesforce Platform Experience in admin support, user access management, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Proven ability to trace data discrepancies to root causes across connected systems (like HubSpot).
  • Experience bridging the gap between non-technical business users and external implementation partners.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage tickets (Asana), document workflows, and deliver user training.

Salesforce Admin Certification, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud experience, or background in the non-profit sector is a bonus.

We recognise that sometimes the right person for a job is based on personal qualities and not just qualifications. If you are not sure whether you are qualified, we would strongly encourage you to make an inquiry or go ahead and apply.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
  • Be part of a globally respected brand: Work with one of the most influential names in the environmental NGO space, backed by five decades of courageous campaigning.
  • Work-life balance you can rely on: A 35-hour work week, supported by GPAP’s integrity framework, plus generous leave options (including an additional week of paid leave between Christmas and New Year).
  • Workplace designed for impact: Enjoy our purpose-built head office in Rosebery, Sydney, a space created to foster collaboration and creativity.
  • A culture of belonging: Join a team that truly celebrates inclusivity, diversity, and a sense of community.
  • Support for your wellbeing: Access an annual health and wellness allowance to help you thrive both inside and outside of work.

Annual full-time salary: $101,272.80 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Pro-rata to contract duration.

GPAP is an equal opportunity employer with a longstanding commitment of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual. We recognise and value the benefits and strengths that diversity brings to our employees and the whole organisation and we thrive in an environment that encourages respect and trust.

Note: Not all responsibilities and competencies listed in the Job Description need to be addressed; it is left to the discretion of the applicant which to focus on.

Applications close on 4th November 2026.
