Job summary

Newcastle Batteries is seeking a reliable Sales & Service Specialist to join the Newcastle team on a full-time basis. You will provide professional service to retail and trade customers and drive sales across our battery range.

You will fit batteries, deliver replacements and promote accessories as directed by your manager, with a focus on growing the customer base in the local market. A clean driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail or trade.
• Confident with meeting sales targets and delivering high service levels.
• Strong organisation and reliability to run a store independently.

About the Job

We are now seeking a reliable and highly motivated Sales & Service Specialist to join our team in Newcastle on a fulltime basis.

Your duties, whilst not limited to, will include:

• Provide a high levelof professional service to all our retail and trade customers and ensure optimal sales results;
• Seeknew business opportunities to end user markets;
• Battery fittings and delivery;
• Sale of battery accessories and other services as reasonably directed by your manager.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key competencies:

• Mechanically astute and competent (Automotive trade qualification would be an advantage)
• Positive andconscientious attitude
• Highly organised and reliable with the ability and honesty to run a store independently
• Self-motivated, flexibleand willing to adapt to a variety of work
• Current driver's licence
• Previous battery and sales experience will be an advantage
