Battery Stop in Campbellfield is seeking a full-time Sales & Battery Installation role. You will provide battery sales and installation services, diagnose battery issues, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

The position includes inventory tasks, merchandising, handling invoicing, and occasional light loading/unloading duties. Applicants should have strong customer service skills, a full Australian driver’s licence, and a willingness to obtain a forklift licence if required.

Formación

• Excellent customer service and product knowledge to help customers select batteries and accessories.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose battery issues.
• Ability to work safely with basic tools and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one if required.
• Hold a full Australian Driver's Licence (non-probationary).

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality battery sales and installation services to customers.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Maintain merchandising displays and accuracy of invoicing paperwork.

• Load/unload trucks, pick/pack orders, handle cash and card transactions.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality battery sales and installation services to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to help customers find the right battery or accessory for their needs
• Assisting with inventory management
• Stock replenishment, and maintaining merchandising displays
• Accurately diagnosing battery issues and recommending appropriate remedies
• Installing batteries in vehicles and other equipment, ensuring a seamless customer experience
• Invoicing and other paperwork

Other Duties

• Loading and unloading of trucks/pallets
• Picking and packing orders
• Handling cash and card transactions
• Supporting the team with any other tasks as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

Skills and Attributes

• General hands-on skills with basic tools
• Full Australian Drivers Licence (non probationary)
• Strong technical problem-solving skills (job-specific training provided)
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to confidently communicate with all personalities
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and grow
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Hold a current forklift licence or willing to obtain one if required
• The ability to build trust and provide clear explanations to customers.
• Professional and tidy personal presentation.

Hours

Weekdays 8am - 5:45pm
Saturdays 9am - 3pm (if required)

45 hours per week will generally be worked (including 7 hours of overtime)
