Blackwoods is seeking a Sales Team Member to join our high-energy team in Mile End, SA. You will handle customer service, sales support, merchandising, stock replenishment and store operations to deliver an outstanding experience to tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts and professionals.

The role involves a rotating roster with weekend work. Previous retail or trade exposure is valued, and you will be supported by ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, customer service or a customer-facing environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Trade, hardware, power tool or industrial product knowledge highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Apprentices or tradies looking to transition into retail sales are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal sales performance and contribute to achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
• Assist customers with product selection, advice and product demonstrations.
• Process customer transactions accurately and follow established sales procedures.
• Receive, unpack, replenish and merchandise stock throughout the store.
• Support visual merchandising and promotional displays.
• Maintain store presentation, safety and operational standards.
• Assist with stocktakes, inventory control and loss prevention activities.
• Prepare, pack and process goods for repair, replacement or customer collection.
• Operate store equipment safely and effectively.
