Job summary

Agri Talent Pty is seeking a driven Account Manager to own a portfolio of stockfeed customers across Northern NSW. You will grow sales, retain customers and identify new opportunities while visiting farms and coordinating with mill operations to meet each client’s needs.

Ideal candidates have proven agriculture sales experience, strong beef/dairy knowledge, and excellent relationship skills. A current driver’s licence and commercial awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or account management experience in agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of beef and dairy livestock production.
• Stockfeed/animal nutrition sales experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's licence and commercial awareness.

About the Role

Prefer building relationships over cold calling? Take ownership of an established stockfeed customer portfolio, working directly with beef and dairy producers across Northern NSW. Focus on account management, customer retention and growth, with new business opportunities as the operation expands.

Duties

• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing livestock producers.
• Grow sales through exceptional service and account management.
• Reconnect with previous customers and identify opportunities for growth.
• Conduct regular on-farm visits across your territory.
• Work alongside mill operations to ensure customer requirements are met.

Skills & Experience

• Proven sales or account management experience within agriculture.
• Strong understanding of livestock production, particularly beef and dairy.
• Stockfeed or animal nutrition sales experience highly regarded.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness and a current driver's licence.
