Mates Food & Beverage is seeking a dynamic field sales ambassador to grow our brands across independent grocers, cafes and Horeca in Sydney and beyond. You’ll work directly with founders, win new accounts and build lasting relationships.

You bring proven food and beverage sales experience, strong network, a can-do attitude, a valid driver’s license, and a readiness to travel. On offer is a full-time role with a car, iPad and phone, plus a bonus structure and mentoring as the company scales.

Formación

• Proven experience in food & beverage sales.
• Experience across FMCG, grocery and/or Horeca sales.
• Established relationships across town and a strong network.

Responsabilidades

• Win new business with independent grocers, specialty retailers, cafes and sandwich shops.
• Build relationships with retail stakeholders and brand ambassadors.
• Onboard customers to seamless ordering system and manage CRM.
• Be eyes and ears in the market, feeding back to founders.

Mates is a collection of powerhouse brands that are joining forces to build an unmissable presence in the independent supermarket and Horeca channels.

Beverages, chocolate and coffee brands coming together to win, as mates.

Mates is a new entity founded by the team behind Quest Beverages – Calm & Stormy mineral water, Thrills brewed soda and Flippa juices. We’ve been chatting to our mates in the start‑up food and beverage industry and found we all have the same challenge. We’ve got great products, cool brands, but just need to get out and talk to more customers.

That’s where you come in. Work directly with a group of founders to help us grow our brands. Win new business. Build presence in stores. Develop great relationships.

About the role

• Win new business with the best independent grocers, speciality retailers, cafes and sandwich shops around town
• Build relationships with key retail stakeholders
• Brand Ambassador, introducing our brands to retailers and the broader market
• Fight for presence for our brands on the best shelf, in the best fridges
• Onboard customers to seamless ordering system
• Track progress in an easy-to-use CRM
• Be our eyes and ears in the market, feeding back directly into the founders.

About you

• Proven experience in food and beverage sales
• Experience across FMCG, grocery and/or Horeca sales
• Motivated by winning new business
• Established relationships across town
• Motivated, self-starter with great energy
• Hungry to learn and progress
• Have a license
