Job summary

Cleary Bros is seeking a Sales Representative - Concrete to join their team at Albion Park, NSW. The role involves assisting the Sales Manager with concrete sales, connecting with and maintaining existing customer accounts, and establishing new customers to maximise opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key duties include preparing quotations, liaising with customers and staff, conducting market intelligence, and reporting on sales trends.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in the construction industry.
• Experience working in industrial sales (concrete preferred).
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook to prepare tenders, sales reports, data analysis and meeting minutes.
• Proven ability to identify and maintain long standing professional relationships with customers.
• Excellent communication and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Concrete sales and account management with existing customers.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations.
• Carry out market intelligence on customers, competitors and the industry.
• Coordinate with operations to meet customer technical requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and discuss trends in sales meetings.
• Pursue additional sales opportunities across plant hire, transport and construction divisions.
• Follow up on timely payment of accounts.

Job description

Cleary Bros is currently seeking a Sales Representative - Concrete to join their dynamic, successful team based at Albion Park, NSW.

The Sales Representative will include assisting the Sales Manager with concrete sales, to connect with and maintain existing customer accounts, establish new customers and to maximise opportunities whilst always ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Concrete sales;
• Effectively communicate and liaise with all new and existing customers in a professional, courteous and helpful manner;
• Prepare and follow up on quotations;
• Carry out market intelligence on customers, competitors and the industry;
• Liaise with operational and technical staff to ensure that customer technical requirements are consistently met, and where issues are identified, assist in the resolution;
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports to identify customer movements (and suggested improvements) and trends and discuss them in sales meetings;
• Actively seek additional sales opportunities that may exist within the other integrated businesses including the plant hire, transport and construction divisions; and Follow up with customers as required in relation to timely payment of accounts.

Required skills and experience:

• Previous "hands-on" experience in the construction industry;
• Experience working in industrial sales (concrete preferred)
• A thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook to prepare tenders, sales reports, data analysis and meeting minutes;
• Proven ability to identify and maintain long standing and professional relationships with customers; and
• Excellent communication and follow up skills.
