Qualifications

• Hands-on construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Manager with concrete sales and customer accounts.
• Connect with new and existing customers, maintaining professional relationships.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations.
• Conduct market intelligence on customers, competitors and industry.
• Coordinate with operations and technical staff to meet customer requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and discuss trends in meetings.
• Pursue additional sales opportunities within related divisions and ensure timely payments.

Cleary Bros is currently seeking a Sales Representative - Concrete to join their dynamic, successful team based at Albion Park, NSW.

The Sales Representative will include assisting the Sales Manager with concrete sales, to connect with and maintain existing customer accounts, establish new customers and to maximise opportunities whilst always ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Concrete sales;
• Effectively communicate and liaise with all new and existing customers in a professional, courteous and helpful manner;
• Prepare and follow up on quotations;
• Carry out market intelligence on customers, competitors and the industry;
• Liaise with operational and technical staff to ensure that customer technical requirements are consistently met, and where issues are identified, assist in the resolution;
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports to identify customer movements (and suggested improvements) and trends and discuss them in sales meetings;
• Actively seek additional sales opportunities that may exist within the other integrated businesses including the plant hire, transport and construction divisions; and Follow up with customers as required in relation to timely payment of accounts.

Required skills and experience:

• Previous "hands-on" experience in the construction industry;
• Experience working in industrial sales (concrete preferred)
• A thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook to prepare tenders, sales reports, data analysis and meeting minutes;
• Proven ability to identify and maintain long standing and professional relationships with customers; and
• Excellent communication and follow up skills.
