Job summary

King IT in Gympie, Queensland, is seeking a confident salesperson who can connect with customers, uncover real needs, and tailor tech solutions across cybersecurity, software, backups, and devices.

You will build trust and ask the right questions using our 16-Step Sales Process, contributing to a results-driven team that values ownership. Weekend work is required, with clear pathways for internal promotion as the company expands across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Experience with a structured sales process (16 steps)
• Must be comfortable in a target-driven, retail-style environment
• Interest in tech services (data, security, software) and learning new products

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building trust and asking the right questions using our 16-Step Sales Process

• Recommending solutions across cybersecurity, software, backup, device setups, accessories, repairs and training

• Helping customers understand the “why” behind what they came in for

• Growing your product and service knowledge across Apple, Samsung, Windows, networking and more

• Working as part of a results-driven team that values ownership and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• Confident communicators who can build rapport fast

• Background in retail, hospitality, telco, gyms, or finance is great – but not required

• Sales-minded or sales-curious – you must be hungry to succeed

• Willingness to learn tech and services (data, security, software)

• Available for full-time work, including weekends.

The Gympie store is a new store and will be up and running in Late October
- For experience sales people your start date will fall around this time
- For trainee sales role you will be able to start immediately at a different store
