Coates Hire is seeking a Sales Manager – Engineering Solutions based in Ingleburn, NSW, to lead the Solutions Specialists and Temporary Works Engineers. You will analyse market trends, identify customer segments, and create action plans to expand the company’s market share while driving revenue and growth outcomes.

You’ll develop plans with the sales team to maximise lead generation, conversions, and retention; coach and mentor staff; and foster strong internal relationships to ensure end‑to‑end

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales management experience.
• Construction, Engineering or Technical Sales background.
• Proven sales performance ability.
• Ability to coach and mentor individuals.
• Ability to lead a high performing sales team.
• Ability to develop internal relationships with CMG members.

The Sales Manager – Engineering Solutions, is a pivotal role in leading the Solutions Specialists and Temporary Works Engineers to drive revenue and growth outcomes. The Sales Manager will analyse market trends, identify potential customer segments, and create action plans to expand the company’s market share. Working closely with the sales team, they will design initiatives to maximise lead generation, conversion rates, and customer retention based on these and existing strategies.

• Develop plans with the Sales team to drive product and services revenue opportunities through existing and new customer base.
• Identify priority product categories and develop business plans in-conjunction with Category Managers to drive product and services revenue.
• Develop personal development plans to ensure that the sales team have the skills, knowledge, business tools and ability to effectively prospect for product growth opportunities and engineered solutions.
• Provide strong leadership to the team to drive maximum engagement and sales performance.
• Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure execution of end to end services are carried out safely and efficiently.

• Proven sales performance ability.
