Job summary

Sun Point International Pty Ltd is seeking an energetic sales-focused professional to drive business development in the Greater Sydney region. You will identify and secure new hire opportunities while building durable relationships with formworkers, builders and subcontractors.

You will regularly visit active construction sites, assess requirements, and tailor formwork packages to meet project needs. A strong track record in lead generation, negotiations, and client management will help you

• Proven background in formwork, civil, or construction sector.
• Track record in proactive business development and lead generation.
• Ability to manage client relationships and close deals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel across Sydney construction sites.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project specs.
• Hands-on product onboarding and customer support.

Key responsibilities

Proactively identifying, prospecting, and securing new sales and hire opportunities across the Greater Sydney region

Building and maintaining robust, long-term partnerships with formworkers, builders, developers, and subcontractors

Conducting regular on-site visits to assess customer requirements, review site plans, and recommend practical formwork packages

Preparing competitive quotations, negotiating hire contracts, and following up leads through to completion

Collaborating closely with internal yard, logistics, and admin teams to guarantee smooth and timely job delivery

Keeping across upcoming construction projects and local industry developments to grow our customer base

Providing responsive, knowledgeable customer service and ongoing support across the entire project lifecycle

About you

Proven background and practical experience within the formwork, civil, or construction sector

Demonstrated track record in proactive business development, lead generation, and client relationship management

High level of personal drive and self-motivation to hit and exceed ambitious revenue targets independently

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage site managers, estimators, and directors

Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive, communicate, and contribute within a close-knit team

Valid Australian driver's licence and full working rights to travel across active Sydney construction sites

Solid commercial acumen with the ability to understand technical project specs, quotes, and hire agreements
