Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a Sales Estimator for its pre-construction team in Greater Sydney. You will prepare accurate estimates and pricing for new residential projects, collaborating with Sales, clients, suppliers and internal teams to drive opportunities from concept to buildability.

The role focuses on front-end estimating, reviewing plans and specifications, and ensuring cost-effective, buildable outcomes for knockdown rebuilds, custom homes and house & land packages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential estimating.
• Experience within a builder, ideally across sales/pre-construction estimating.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and costs.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate sales estimates and costings for new residential projects.
• Review architectural plans, specifications and client requirements.
• Price variations, upgrades and client selections.
• Obtain and assess pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work closely with the Sales team to provide accurate pricing and support new business opportunities.
• Review plans and identify potential cost or construction issues early.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, commercially sound and aligned with build requirements.
• Maintain pricing information and supplier rates.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from Sales through to Construction.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established residential builder with a strong reputation and a consistent pipeline of projects across Greater Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter.

They deliver a mix of knockdown rebuilds, custom homes and house & land packages, with a strong presence in the detached residential market.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Sales Estimator to join their pre-construction team and play a key role in helping turn new opportunities into accurate, buildable projects.

The Role

Working closely with the Sales and Pre-Construction teams, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and pricing for new residential projects.

This is a great opportunity for an Estimator who enjoys the front end of the construction process and wants to work closely with Sales, clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate sales estimates and costings for new residential projects
