Job summary

Exide Technologies in Bankstown is seeking a highly organised Sales Coordinator to support a busy sales, service and warehouse operation. You will manage day-to-day scheduling for service technicians, handle order entry from quote to despatch, and maintain strong customer relationships.

The role requires at least five years in sales coordination or administration in an industrial setting, excellent communication, MS Office skills, and familiarity with Oracle ERP.

At Exide Technologies, we’re looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our supportive and collaborative team at our office in Bankstown. In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting our sales, service, and warehouse operations while ensuring outstanding customer experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for providing administration and customer service support across Sales, Service, and Warehouse Operations. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Effective management of day-to-day scheduling requirements for a team of Service Technicians; allocating jobs and using a PC-based electronic reporting program for quoting and reporting purposes.
• Communicating with customers on the scheduling of jobs and providing job status updates, ensuring all service jobs are completed on time and to the customers’ requirements.
• Managing the order entry process from quote to despatch whilst ensuring open communication with both internal and external customers.
• Resolving customer complaints and escalating in a timely manner where necessary.
• General office duties; meet and greet visitors, answering phones and directing enquiries to the appropriate team/person.
• Build strong customer relations (both internal and external) whilst enhancing the reputation of Exide Technologies as an ethical supplier of quality products.
• Work always to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
• At least 5 years’ experience in Sales Coordination, Service Coordination, or Administration within an industrial environment
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with Oracle ERP (highly regarded but not essential)
• A commitment to teamwork and delivering outstanding customer service
