Job summary

MDI Australia is seeking a highly organised Sales Coordinator to join our Brisbane sales team. You will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Sales Manager and team, and be the main contact for customers through the sales and order process.

This hands-on role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive, can-do attitude to help grow customer relationships and support sales events.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and sales support to the Sales Manager and sales team.
• Process and coordinate customer orders from initial enquiry through to dispatch.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare quotations, order confirmations, invoices, credits and other sales documentation.
• Follow up outstanding orders, backorders and customer enquiries.
• Monitor stock availability and communicate relevant information to customers and sales representatives.
• Follow up sales leads and assist with developing new customer opportunities.
• Support existing customers and build strong ongoing customer relationships.
• Assist with interstate trade fairs, showroom activities and other sales events when required.
• Prepare sales reports and assist with general sales analysis.
