Job summary

Wood Recruitment is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join a growing team in Yangebup, WA. You will work with customers to design tailored shed solutions and manage projects from enquiry to signed contract.

This permanent, full-time role offers a base salary of $80,000 plus uncapped commission, with ongoing training and strong support. Ideal for someone with sales or construction experience who enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, estimating, construction sales, or a consultative sales role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and commercially driven approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence presenting solutions and closing sales.
• CRM experience (preferred).
• Experience within construction, sheds, building, engineering, or trade industries will be highly regarded.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Responding to inbound customer enquiries and qualifying project requirements.
• Meeting with customers in the showroom, over the phone, and via email.
• Preparing quotations for customised residential, rural, commercial, and industrial shed solutions.
• Explaining construction options, engineering requirements, and practical building solutions.
• Preparing accurate quotations and proposals within agreed timeframes.
• Following up quotations and enquiries to maximise sales opportunities.
• Building strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Working closely with drafting, estimating, administration, and construction teams.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales pipelines.
• Achieving sales and gross profit targets.
