Job summary

Southern Plumbing Plus in Canberra is seeking full-time sales professionals for our retail and trade showrooms. You will be the key contact between the company and customers, delivering face-to-face service to homeowners, builders and tradespeople.

Ideal candidates have sales experience in plumbing or building industries or retail. You will need good computer skills, a friendly team spirit, and a commitment to excellent service, with training opportunities for growth.

Southern Plumbing Plus is the region's leading independent supplier of plumbing, bathroom and kitchen products. We're family owned and operated with a successful history in the plumbing and construction industries. Our trade stores and retail showrooms are in Canberra, Albury and Wodonga, Goulburn and Wagga Wagga.

About the role

We have both fulltime positions available within our Sales teams and are looking for driven sales experts to join our retail & trade (plumbing) showrooms in Canberra.

Yours is an important role – you'll be the key point of contact between our company and our customers.

Applicants must have valid Australian work rights to be considered for this position.

• Face-to-face sales/service to trade and retail customers
• Dealing with a diverse group of customers (homeowners, builders, plumbers and interior designers)
• Providing an excellent standard of customer service
• Finding solutions to customers' needs
• Participation in training and personal development sessions.

Ideal candidates will have sales experience within the plumbing or building industries or may have worked previously in a retail environment.

As well as excellent customer service skills you'll have the drive, commitment and integrity required to build a successful sales career. Competency with computers, a desire to acquire product knowledge and a friendly personality to work well within the current friendly teams are also essential characteristics for this role.
