Job summary

John Cole Toyota in Atherton is looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll help customers find the right vehicle, manage enquiries, arrange test drives and deliver a memorable dealership experience. You’ll receive comprehensive training and ongoing coaching to support your progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail or hospitality helps but is not required.
• Right attitude, strong people skills and willingness to learn are essential.
• No automotive sales experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in the dealership.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Present vehicles and arrange test drives.
• Respond to phone and online enquiries.
• Follow up with customers and build lasting relationships.
• Assist with trade-ins and vehicle appraisals.
• Work closely with the wider dealership team.

No automotivesalesexperience? No problem. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong people skills and a genuine willingness to learn. With comprehensive training and support from an experienced team, you'll develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in automotivesales.

About the role

You’ll help customers find the right vehicle while learning the completesalesprocess - from the initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers in the dealership
• Understanding customers' needs and recommending suitable vehicles
• Presenting vehicles and arranging test drives
• Responding to phone and online enquiries
• Following up with customers and building lasting relationships
• Assisting with trade-ins and vehicle appraisals
• Working closely with the wider dealership team
