Job summary

John Cole Toyota in Innisfail is seeking a motivated Junior / Trainee Sales Consultant to join our local team. No automotive sales experience is required; we provide full training and ongoing professional development to help you succeed in automotive sales.

You will help customers find the right vehicle, learn the end-to-end sales process, and enjoy uncapped commissions with genuine earning potential, staff discounts, coaching, and clear opportunities for advancement as you build relationships.

Responsibilities

Help customers find the right vehicle from enquiry through to delivery.
Welcoming and assisting customers in the dealership.
Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
Present vehicles and arrange test drives.
Respond to phone and online enquiries.
Follow up with customers and build lasting relationships.
Assist with trade-ins and vehicle appraisals.
Work closely with the wider dealership team.
Deliver a professional and memorable customer experience.

No automotive sales experience? No problem.We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong people skills and a genuine willingness to learn. With comprehensive training and support from an experienced team, you'll develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in automotive sales.

About the role

You'll help customers find the right vehicle while learning the complete sales process - from the initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery.

Welcoming and assisting customers in the dealership
Understanding customers' needs and recommending suitable vehicles
Presenting vehicles and arranging test drives
Responding to phone and online enquiries
Following up with customers and building lasting relationships
Assisting with trade-ins and vehicle appraisals
Working closely with the wider dealership team
Delivering a professional and memorable customer experience
