Aufgaben

• Provide friendly, professional service to our trade and retail customers
• Build relationships with existing customers and help keep them coming back
• Handle telephone, email and counter enquiries
• Process orders and assist customers with product and parts lookups
• Learn our battery, oil, filter, wiper and workshop product ranges
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
• Follow up customers, repeat orders and stock requirements
• Look for opportunities to grow customer accounts through great service and follow-through
• Assist with customer consignment stock, replenishment and auditing
• Help with stock receipting, checking incoming goods and maintaining stock accuracy
• Pick and prepare customer orders when required
• Test and fit batteries and assist with warranty enquiries
• Complete local deliveries and customer drop-offs when required
• Use Jiwa and other computer systems for orders, stock and customer information
• Work closely with the Coffs Harbour team to ensure customers receive reliable, prompt service

We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, takes ownership and gets satisfaction from providing genuinely good customer service.

Based at our Coffs Harbour branch, you will work closely with our trade and retail customers, helping with enquiries, orders, product advice and day-to-day account needs.

The role combines customer service, counter sales, relationship management, stock support and occasional local deliveries.

Importantly, you do not need automotive experience.

We can teach you batteries, oils, filters and our systems. What we are looking for is the right attitude, initiative and ability to build strong customer relationships.

We currently have opportunities across both customer sales and delivery/customer service, so there may be flexibility to shape the position around the strengths of the right person.

About you

You do not need to know everything about cars.

You do need to enjoy dealing with people and take pride in doing a good job.

Licences

• Current Australian driver's licence required
• Forklift licence (LF) highly regarded
• Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence highly regarded, particularly if you are interested in the delivery side of the role
• An MR licence is not required for our primary customer service and sales position
