Job summary

Autobarn Geelong is seeking a driven Sales Consultant for a full-time role in a busy store. You will engage customers, promote automotive products and contribute to stock management and cleanliness.

The position requires 38 hours per week on a rotating 5-day roster, weekend work, and a strong commitment to customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cars and car systems is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to change.
• Must be reliable, punctual and able to contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Sell automotive products and services to customers.
• Maintain store stock levels and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Assist with opening/closing and weekend rostering as required.

Job description

We are looking for full time 38 hours sales person, long term career opportunity for a sales consultant to join our busy team. This Role is a sales role as well as maintaining the stores stock levels and cleaning. Must be available for a 5 day 38 hours rotating roster.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES

• This is a sales position for someone with knowledge of cars.
• Basic enthusiast level car knowledge is required for this sales position.
• Experiences with car audio sells would be advantage.
• Must be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent team player and can respond well in an ever-changing environment.
• Be committed to sales and product training.
• Must have drivers licence and car.
• Resolving customer problems
• Confident to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must be reliable.
• Be able to fit globes, wiper blades, car batteries.
• Monthly sales bonus.
• All applicants will need current Police Check to be successful.
• Police check must be obtained before start date.
• Must be available to work 38 hours per week with no restriction.
• References from previous employers.
• Australian citizenship is required for this position.

This is a 7 day a week business and requires working weekends and public holidays.

A willingness to learn and work in a team environment is vital. Excellent communication skills, combined with a passion to deliver great customer service is essential.
