Job summary

ST Engineering Solutions in Victoria is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to support our sales and operations team, focusing on selling attachments for our HFP Attachments range. This is not an entry-level role and requires prior sales experience, handling enquiries from initial contact through to order completion.

You will be the first point of contact for many customers, providing product information, quotes, and CRM data entry, while collaborating with sales and operations to drive product

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or sales support role.
• Experience in earthmoving or attachment industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; detail oriented.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales and operations team, with a strong focus on selling attachments for our HFP Attachments range. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with prior sales experience who can confidently manage customer enquiries, support the sales process, and contribute to driving product sales. You will be the first point of contact for many customer enquiries and play a key role in supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and social media in a professional and timely manner
• Provide accurate information on HFP Attachments products, including specifications, pricing, and availability
• Prepare and assist with sales quotes, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
• Actively follow up on quotes and enquiries to support attachment sales
• Process customer orders and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system
• Track quotes, customer interactions, and sales activity
• Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
• Support communication between sales, operations, and other internal teams
• Provide ad hoc support to ensure smooth workflow across the business

About you

• Previous experience in a sales or sales support role (essential)
• Previous sales experience in the earthmoving or attachment industry (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Proactive, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems (CRM experience is a plus)
• A team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing to shared goals
