Job summary

Reece Australia Pty Ltd, via Actrol, seeks a Sales & Application Engineer for South Australia. You will blend technical refrigeration knowledge with practical advice to help customers choose equipment and prepare quotations.

Travel across the state, deliver technical presentations and training, and stay current with new supplier products. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in engineering (refrigeration), or a Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree-qualified Engineer with refrigeration industry experience.
• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years’ post-apprenticeship experience.
• Identify, nurture and grow new and existing customer relationships.
• Confidence providing heat load calculations, equipment selections and quotations.
• Have a current driver’s license and comfortable with some travel in the role.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, equipment selections and quotations for customers.
• Work with the sales team to support customers across SA.
• Deliver technical presentations and training as needed.
• Stay current with emerging trends and supplier products.
• Visit project sites to provide hands-on field support.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales and Applications Engineering Lead, you’ll help customers find the right refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment and accessories by bringing together technical knowledge, practical advice and a strong service mindset. You’ll provide technical support, equipment selections and quotations for both internal and external customers. Working closely with the sales team, you’ll support customers across the state, deliver technical presentations and training, stay close to emerging trends and new supplier products, and visit project sites when customers need hands‑on field support.

About you

• We’re looking for a technically minded refrigeration specialist, or a Diploma or Degree‑qualified Engineer with refrigeration industry experience, who brings curiosity, practical know‑how and a customer‑first approach.
• Cert III Refrigeration Trade Qualification with at least two years’ post‑apprenticeship experience.
• Someone who is able to identify, nurture and grow new and existing customer relationships.
• Confidence providing heat load calculations, equipment selections and quotations.
