Job summary

Wyn&Co in Toowoomba is seeking a hands-on Safety Advisor to bolster site safety across a regional portfolio. This field-based role requires regular travel between project sites to ensure robust safety practices and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, conduct inspections, support risk assessments and SWMS, and drive continuous improvement of HSE systems. This is a proactive, team-driven position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety or a related field.
• Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• A current driver's licence and ability to travel regularly between project sites.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards and best practice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
• The ability to work as part of a team and show initiative when working independently.
• Strong relationship-building skills with all stakeholders.
• A down-to-earth, friendly and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing proactive safety support across construction projects in Toowoomba and surrounds.

• Promoting a positive safety culture through engagement with site teams.
• Assisting with injury management and return-to-work processes where required.
• Maintaining accurate safety records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Building strong working relationships with site teams and stakeholders across multiple projects.

About the role

My client is looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join their team in Toowoomba. You'll support a diverse portfolio of construction projects across the region, working alongside site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to keep their people safe and projects compliant.
