Perigon Group in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in the Brisbane CBD. You will provide practical safety guidance across a national portfolio, support incident investigations and drive risk management with stakeholders across multiple business units.

The role focuses on continuous safety improvements, incident response, and compliance with WHS legislation, contributing to a positive safety culture within a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Safety Business Partner or WHS role.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation.

Safety Advisor

Brisbane CBD | 3-month Fixed Term Contract

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Safety Advisor to join a well-established national organisation on a fixed term contract until January.

Based in Brisbane, this position supports multiple business units across Australia, partnering with operational and corporate stakeholders to strengthen safety outcomes across a diverse workforce.

The Opportunity

Reporting to a supportive and experienced leader, you'll play a key role in providing practical safety advice, incident support and risk management guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert safety advice and guidance across a national portfolio
• Support incident investigations and the management of corrective actions
• Assist with risk assessments and implementation of control measures
• Partner with operational leaders to drive a positive safety culture
• Review safety data, trends and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reporting through the organisation's safety management system

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a Safety Business Partner, Safety Advisor or similar WHS role
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and best practice
• Experience supporting incident investigations and risk management processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• The ability to build trusted relationships across operational and corporate teams
