Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions - Australia is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Shepparton branch in Victoria. You will own the merchandise categories from procurement to stock, shape how we grow, and build genuine customer relationships with local growers.

Qualifications

• Experience in agricultural retail/wholesale.
• Strong pricing and margin management capabilities.
• Ability to develop and optimize product categories.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with SAP and Excel reporting is a plus.
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Own the merchandise categories for the branch from procurement to stock.
• Drive sales across rural merchandise and manage inventory end-to-end.
• Collaborate with management, agronomists, and procurement to meet client needs.
• Partner with supplier representatives to deliver value and roll out marketing initiatives.
• Analyse market trends to stay the first choice for service and solutions.
