Job summary

Zeal Futures Pty is seeking an experienced RTO Manager to lead day-to-day operation of trade and non-trade training across three campuses, primarily Rutherford, NSW. You will guide and develop a capable team to deliver high-quality education and meaningful outcomes for students, employers and communities.

You will drive performance on funded contracts, expand programs and delivery models, while embedding continuous improvement and compliance with the Standards for RTOs and ASQA requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior operational or management role within an RTO.
• Strong knowledge of the Standards for RTOs, ASQA requirements and audit processes.
• Experience managing government-funded training contracts (Smart and Skilled and ACE).
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Confident leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in trade training environments preferred.
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RTO Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our trade and non-trade training across three campuses. Based primarily at Rutherford, you will guide and develop a capable team to deliver high-quality education and create meaningful outcomes for students, employers and our communities.

You will join Zeal Futures at an important stage of growth, helping to expand our training offerings, support new infrastructure and turn future opportunities into practical delivery. You will also be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and supporting RTO teams across all three campuses, building capability, accountability and connection.
• Driving performance across Smart and Skilled and ACE funded contracts, including enrolment targets, funding acquittals and reporting.
• Leading the expansion of new programs, delivery models and resourcing across our campuses.
• Keeping quality and compliance at the centre of delivery, meeting the Standards for RTOs and ASQA requirements while embedding continuous improvement.
• Building trusted relationships with government contract managers, licensing bodies, employers and other industry stakeholders.

You will travel between our Rutherford, Ourimbah and Gateshead campuses as needed, with Rutherford as your primary base.

What you'll bring to the table

• Proven experience in a senior operational or management role within an RTO
• Strong working knowledge of the Standards for RTOs, ASQA requirements and audit processes
• Experience managing government-funded training contracts, ideally Smart and Skilled and ACE
• A strong track record of leading, coaching and developing teams across multiple locations
• Confident leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in trade training environments will be highly regarded
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
