Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an HC Driver Asphalt for an immediate start in Tamworth, NSW. You will operate HC vehicles to transport asphalt, load and unload materials, and assist with asphalt spreading, road preparation, and general labour on civil construction sites.

Applicants must hold a NSW HC Licence and White Card, with prior HC driving experience; asphalt/roadworks experience is highly regarded. This outdoor role requires fitness for manual labour and may involve varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HC vehicles to transport asphalt, materials and equipment

• Assist with asphalt spreading, raking and shovelling
• Support the crew with road preparation and clean-up
• Assist with general labouring duties on road and civil construction sites
• Complete vehicle pre-start checks and ensure loads are secure
• Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
