Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Bathurst NSW is seeking a hands-on HC driver and general labourer to support road maintenance and asphalt projects across the region. This casual ongoing role offers consistent work and opportunities to grow in civil construction.

You will operate HC vehicles, transport materials, assist crews, carry out pre-start checks, and travel between sites. A current HC licence and White Card are required, with safety and reliability as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Current HC Driver Licence.
• Current White Card.
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability and willingness to perform general labouring duties.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate HC vehicles safely and efficiently.

• Follow traffic management and safety procedures.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position involving both HC driving and general labouring duties, supporting road maintenance and asphalt projects throughout the region.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate HC vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, equipment and supplies to various worksites.
• Assist the road/asphalt crew with general labouring duties when required.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any vehicle issues.
• Follow all traffic management and workplace safety procedures.
• Travel to different project sites throughout the region.
• Be available for early starts, overtime and occasional weekend work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current HC Driver Licence.
• Current White Card.
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability and willingness to complete general labouring duties.
• Reliable, hardworking attitude with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing.
