Job summary

Programmed in Bathurst is seeking a hands-on HC driver and laborer to support road maintenance and asphalt projects across the region. The role involves operating HC vehicles, transporting materials, and assisting the crew with general labouring duties.

You will perform daily vehicle checks and follow safety procedures, with travel across multiple sites and occasional weekend work. The ideal candidate holds a current HC licence and White Card and is flexible to work away from home if required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current HC Driver Licence.
• Must hold a current White Card.
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Reliable, hardworking with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate HC vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, equipment and supplies to worksites.
• Assist road/asphalt crew with general labouring duties.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report vehicle issues.
• Follow traffic management and workplace safety procedures.
• Travel to different project sites across the region.
• Be available for early starts, overtime and occasional weekend work.
