Job summary

Programmed is seeking a hands-on HC driver and general labourer for road maintenance and asphalt projects around Bathurst. The role covers operating HC vehicles, transporting materials, and assisting the crew with labouring duties across multiple sites.

Candidates must hold a current HC licence and White Card, with prior heavy vehicle experience and a strong safety focus. Casual ongoing work, with overtime and allowances available.

Qualifications

• Current HC Driver Licence.
• Current White Card.
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability and willingness to complete general labouring duties.
• Reliable, hardworking attitude with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate HC vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, equipment and supplies to various worksites.
• Assist the road/asphalt crew with general labouring duties when required.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any vehicle issues.
• Follow all traffic management and workplace safety procedures.
• Travel to different project sites throughout the region.
• Be available for early starts, overtime and occasional weekend work.
