Job summary

Focused on Care in Queensland seeks an experienced Workforce and Rostering Coordinator to lead the rostering team, forecast staffing needs and ensure roster accuracy for payroll and billing. The role involves working closely with HR and applying SCHADS award guidelines.

You will be responsible for reporting, capacity planning and agile collaboration to meet client needs across services in South-East Queensland.

• Forecast workforce requirements using data and reporting.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure workforce compliance.
• Ensure shifts align with payroll, billing needs and award requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for Senior Leadership.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Workforce and Rostering Coordinator to join our Service Delivery team. You will oversee all aspects of rostering and be our go-to person for all rostering requirements as well as use data and reporting to forecast our workforce requirements.

Your duties will include:

• Overall management of our rostering team and system
• Ensuring we are rostering in line with a clients needs and plan
• Ensuring shifts are entered correctly for payroll and billing purposes
• Ensure rosters are aligned with award requirements
• Complete weekly and monthly reporting to the Senior Leadership team
• Oversight of workforce needs and changes through the use of data and reporting to predict staffing needs
• Work closely with the HR department to ensure workforce compliance

This role manages our rostering team who work from 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday.

As a key member of theService Delivery team, you will build capacity and work in an agile manner.

About You

• Qualifications in Workforce Management, HR, Business, Community Services, Disability or other related fields
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position
• Ability to interpret and apply the SCHADS award
• NDIS disability sector/healthcare experience
• Strong attention to detail, adept at working in a high-volume, dynamic environment
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of people
• Able to work independently and autonomously without supervision and as part of a broader team
• A high level of motivation as well as excellent organisational and administrative abilities
• Strong leadership skills
