Job summary

Co.As.It. Community Services is looking for a dedicated roster coordinator in Brisbane to manage large-volume rosters and keep client care plans on track.

You will coordinate planned and unplanned staff leave, liaise with clients about visits, and maintain up-to-date staff availability to ensure timely, reliable home care services. We value a detail-oriented communicator who can work under pressure and negotiate effectively with staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling large rosters.
• Ability to reschedule cover for unplanned changes (sick leave, personal leave, emergencies).
• Strong organisational/time-management skills and task prioritisation.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and under time pressure.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Roster and administer rosters and related duties.
• Manage daily rosters to meet clients' care plans.
• Organise and schedule planned/unplanned leave.
• Record and process client cancellations.
• Liaise with clients about scheduled visits and changes.
• Maintain accurate staff availability information and deliver a customer-focused service.

About the Role

• Responsiblefor allrostering and related administration duties
• Managing a large number of daily rosters to ensure services are delivered according to clients' care plans
• Organising and scheduling planned and unplanned leave
• Recording and processing client cancellations
• Liaising with clients regarding planned and/or changes to scheduled visits and provide clients with timely and relevant information regarding their service/s
• Maintaining accurate, detailed and up to date information on support staff availability
• Delivering a customer-focused approach

About you

• Experience in scheduling a large volume of rosters
• Ability to reschedule cover of unplanned changes in staff availability including sick leave, personal leave and emergency replacement
• Advanced organisational / time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a very fast paced environment and work exceptionally well under pressure and within time restraints
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Skilled communicator
• Problem solver with good negotiation skills
• Understanding of government subsidised in-home service programs
• Knowledge of community based services is desirable
• Ability to communicate in another language is highly regarded
• Have a police certificate issued by the Australian Federal Police
• Able to work in Australia without restrictions
