Job summary

Carrington Centennial Care seeks an experienced Rostering Coordinator to oversee the allocation of about 450 staff across four on-site aged care facilities, operating 24/7. You will ensure adequate coverage for resident care and be the first contact for roster and attendance.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with base salary plus leave loading, superannuation and not-for-profit salary packaging.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years rostering and scheduling experience with shift work.
Experience with Enterprise Agreements and interpreting shift rules.
Experience in rostering to staffing level KPIs.
Demonstrated experience negotiating permanent rosters and flexible arrangements.
Strong relationships with stakeholders and effective written/verbal communication.
Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker check clearance and right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

Roster forecasting, including coverage for planned leave and peak staffing periods.
Ensure rosters meet required staffing levels for care minutes and budget tracking.
Address and resolve rostering issues such as scheduling conflicts or absences.
Manage difficult rostering situations and escalate as needed.
Meet with management stakeholders to understand workforce needs.
