Job summary

Roshana Care Group is seeking a highly organised Rostering Coordinator for Macleay Valley Aged Care in Frederickton, NSW. You will manage day-to-day rosters, coordinate shifts and ensure safe staffing levels to support resident care.

Working with the Facility Manager and clinical leaders, you will maintain workforce records, respond to changing staffing needs, and help optimise operations while delivering professional service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience rostering and workforce coordination, preferably in 24/7 environments.
• Ability to manage complex rosters and respond to staffing changes.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Familiarity with rostering systems (Humanforce/UKG/Procura or similar).
• Knowledge of aged care awards and compliance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.
• Manage planned and unplanned leave, shift changes, and last-minute vacancies.
• Coordinate agency staff and casual workforce when required.
• Liaise with managers and employees regarding roster requests and availability.
• Monitor roster compliance with awards, agreements, policies, and laws.
• Maintain accurate employee availability and workforce records.
• Assist with onboarding and rostering of new employees.
• Generate roster reports and provide workforce information for planning.
• Support payroll processes by ensuring roster and attendance data is accurate.
• Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
• Build positive working relationships and deliver professional service.
