Job summary

Arcare Aged Care, Gosford, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Rostering Coordinator to ensure the Residence is adequately staffed to deliver high-quality care. The role involves creating and maintaining staff rosters, handling shift changes, and coordinating with management to balance budgets and resources.

You will play a pivotal role on the frontline team, ensuring timely payroll administration and clear communication with staff to support a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated rostering across multiple teams or departments.
• Experience with payroll administration within a care or fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target.

Responsibilities

• Staff Scheduling: Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and resident care needs.
• Managing Shift Changes: Process shift changes, leave requests and replacements to maintain staffing levels.
• Payroll Administration: Manage payroll-related tasks, timesheets, leave requests and attendance data for payroll submission.
• Communication: Notify staff of schedules, changes and important information related to their work.
• Coordination with Management: Align staffing with budget and optimize workforce management.
