Job summary

Alzheimer’s Queensland is seeking a Rostering Coordinator to support Home Care services with a rotating roster and full-time stability. You will coordinate staff rosters, manage leave and last-minute coverage, and communicate with staff, clients and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

This fast-paced role requires hands-on problem-solving, excellent communication, and a focus on delivering high-quality care across community services.

Qualifications

Rostering/scheduling experience in aged care or community services.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities.
Experience with rostering software or scheduling systems.

About the Opportunity

Due to the continued growth of our community services, Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ) is expanding our team and seeking an experienced Rostering Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality care across our Home Care services.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where your ability to coordinate people, solve problems, and communicate effectively will directly ensure our clients receive the care they need—when they need it.

What You’ll Be Doing

Coordinating and managing staff rosters across community care services

Supporting the team to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery

About You

You’re organised, resilient, and thrive in a busy environment:

Proven rostering/scheduling experience (aged care or community services highly regarded)
Strong customer service and communication skills
A team player who is willing to step in and support others
Ability to problem-solve quickly and manage competing priorities
High attention to detail and strong time management
Experience with Visual Care (or similar systems) is an advantage
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
