Job summary

Angels in Aprons Pty Ltd is seeking a friendly, organised and experienced Rostering & Care Team Leader to join us full-time in Brisbane. You will lead a small, hands-on team across Rostering and Care Coordination, actively involved in day-to-day rostering while keeping the team connected and duties on track.

You will balance client needs, staff availability and SCHADS Award requirements, driving workforce planning and ensuring high standards of person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Hands-on rostering experience in aged care, community care or disability services.
• Solid understanding of the SCHADS Award and its rostering implications.
• Experience supervising or leading a team or taking that next step.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6 Rosters and Care Partners to work collaboratively and stay on track.
• Build and maintain brokerage relationships while rostering and matching clients with Angels.
• Collaborate with HR Manager to drive workforce planning.
• Oversee daily activities, priorities, workloads and task follow-through.
• Monitor care management minutes and weekly hours to ensure KPIs are met.
• Respond calmly and creatively when plans change and provide practical solutions for clients and Angels.
• Foster clear communication between clients, families, Angels and office teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, teamwork and the client experience.
• Participate in shared after-hours on-call rotation with the team and provide backup support.
