We're Game Changers. Dream Makers. Kindness Champions. And strong rostering is at the heart of what we do.

About the Role

Due to continued growth across our services, we are expanding our Rostering team and are looking for a Rostering and Scheduling Officer to join us. In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. Working in a fast-paced aged care environment, you'll coordinate and optimise schedules to support continuity of care while balancing workforce needs, compliance requirements, and unexpected changes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on organisation, and understands the complexity and importance of rostering in an aged care or healthcare setting.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Building and managing accurate, efficient staff rosters to support high-quality service delivery
  • Coordinating schedules in line with client care plans, service agreements, and staffing requirements
  • Responding to last-minute changes, including unplanned leave and urgent shift coverage
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure workforce utilisation and continuity of care
  • Using rostering systems and technology to streamline scheduling and improve efficiency
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with staff, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Supporting operational outcomes through proactive planning and problem resolution
What You'll Bring
  • Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination, ideally within aged care, healthcare, disability, or a similarly complex environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach when dealing with time-critical changes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Confidence using rostering systems, Microsoft Office, and related technology
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive team player who understands the importance of rosters in delivering quality care
What We Offer

We believe in supporting those who support others. Our benefits include:

  • Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum

  • 17.5% annual leave loading
  • Paid parental leave (9 weeks for eligible employees)
  • Cultural Leave Days for eligible employees
  • Access to ForME!, our employee benefits platform with discounts, financial tips, and wellbeing programs
  • Private health insurance discounts with Medibank
