Job summary

Only About Children Coogee Carr St campus is seeking a confident, caring and organised Room Leader to guide learning, routines, safety and educator support so children's days feel calm and connected.

You will lead programs aligned with children's interests, mentor staff, manage planning, documentation and daily practice, and build respectful partnerships with families while contributing to QIP and campus quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) required.
• Experience leading a room or team.
• Understanding of EYLF, NQF, child safety and inclusive practice.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Confidence managing room priorities, families and quality expectations.
• Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.

Responsibilities

• Shape the day with calm routines and clear expectations.
• Lead programs that follow children's interests and grow ideas.

About Our Coogee Carr St Campus

At Coogee Carr St, I have room for big play, little discoveries and lots of imagination. The beach is close by, the community feels familiar, and my campus has a warm, busy energy that makes each day feel full of things to do. I can feel connected to Coogee life, with the coast, local streets and transport nearby.

I learn in seven indoor learning spaces and play in two outdoor areas made for children like me. I can ride, dig, climb, slide, build and pretend, with a bike track, fairy garden, slide and big sandpits where my ideas can grow. This is where I can feel safe, supported and excited to belong.

As Room Leader, you will guide learning, routines, safety, family communication and educator support so children's days feel calm and connected.

What You'll Bring
