Only About Children Springboard Coogee Carr St is seeking a confident, caring and organised Room Leader to guide learning, routines, safety, family communication and educator support so children's days feel calm and connected.

In this role you will shape the rhythm of the day, lead programs that follow children's interests, support planning and documentation, and build strong partnerships with families to help every child belong and thrive.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience leading a room or team.
• Understanding of EYLF, NQF and child safety inclusive practice.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Confidence managing room priorities, families and quality expectations.
• Working with Children Check and clearance.

About our Coogee Carr St campus

At Coogee Carr St, I have room for big play, little discoveries and lots of imagination. The beach is close by, the community feels familiar, and my campus has a warm, busy energy that makes each day feel full of things to do. I can feel connected to Coogee life, with the coast, local streets and transport nearby.

I learn in seven indoor learning spaces and play in two outdoor areas made for children like me. I can ride, dig, climb, slide, build and pretend, with a bike track, fairy garden, slide and big sandpits where my ideas can grow. This is where I can feel safe, supported and excited to belong.

About the role

As Room Leader, you will guide learning, routines, safety, family communication and educator support so children's days feel calm and connected.

What you’ll bring

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
• Experience leading a room or team.
