Job summary

Nido Early School in Melbourne is seeking a Lead Educator to guide curriculum development in collaboration with educators, children and families. You will lead and facilitate planning and documentation, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and alignment with standards.

The role requires leadership of a room or team, knowledge of EYLF/NQS, and current WWCC and First Aid. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or progress toward it is expected, with a commitment to children's wellbeing and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or working towards is required or in progress.
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS with inquiry-based learning.
• Experience leading a room or a team.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certificate.

The role: Lead Educator

• Lead and develop the curriculum in collaboration with educators, children and families
• Lead and facilitate the cycle of planning and documentations of learning

What you’ll bring

• Diploma in Early Childhood Educator or working-towards
• In-depth knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based learning.
• Driven to provide outstanding education and care to young children
• Aligned to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia
• Experience in leading a room or team
• Current WWCC and First Aid.
