Job summary

Nido Early School in Victoria is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to set learning goals with children, families and colleagues and to model best practices aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach.

You will design diverse and engaging learning environments, support educators, and maintain a current Working with Children Check and First Aid to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
• Alignment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
• Valid Teacher Registration.
• National Child Safety Training (Geccko) completed or willing to obtain before employment.

• Set learning goals with children, families and colleagues that provide achievable challenges for every child.
• Role model educational practices for other educators, aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach.
• Support educators to enable children to develop identity, wellbeing, confidence and connection to the world.

What you’ll bring

• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• Alignment to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia
• Valid Teacher Registration
• Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment
